- the manager advised that the key would be placed in the post box. when i arrived (with my wife, baby and suitcases), i was very disappointed to find out that the key is not there. tried to call the manager and the hotline, without any success. so i had to look for a hotel and transfer all my stuff there. that was pretty lame. however, the next day the manager called me, appologized for what happened, paid for the hotel i was staying in and helped to transfer the things. so even though i was really upset in the beginning, now i don't have hard feelings. just maybe you need to make yourself available 24/7 (or at least extend your working hours on fridays, when your guest arrive)

- Familien, Paare, Gruppen no convenient access for disabled (we were with baby stroller, so you need to take it up few stairs before you can get in elevator. not a big deal, but for a person in wheelchair without assistance can be difficult
- Umgebung
- Supermarkt, Restaurant, Touristen Information great location, near the port of ascona; shops, restaurants, post office - everything is in a short walking distance. you need to get a bus to go to train station (locarno), but the bus stop is also just few meters away from the guest house. quiet location, no much view though
- Natur
- See, Berge lago majore (about 7 min walk) - simply beautiful. from locarno station you can take a lift to cardada - highly recommended for amazing view from there.

- Mode, Geschenkartikel a lot of boutiques but the prices are high to very high
