- An excellent holiday home but not for anyone with mobility problems (or very small children) as the stairs are very steep!

- There was a children's play barn just on the edge of the village... an absolute paradise for kids and also handy if it's raining!

- A pancake house on the harbour in Harlingen (nearest town). Makes excellent pancakes and very child friendly.

- Familien, Paare Just not small kids or those with mobility problems due to stairs.
- Umgebung
- Supermarkt, Restaurant Co-op is short walk away and very good. Pub just around the corner with excellent food Restaurant just out of the village but we didn't try it!

- Meer Best beach was at Makkum app. 30k away but worth the drive.
